Role Summary:

Provide hands-on expertise with web-application development and integrations with current & future systems. This position will lead the analysis, design, database architecture and development of in-house and outsourced projects. The role will provide guidance, expertise, and internal consultancy to cross-functional teams across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete oversight of ERP system and integrated third party solutions, including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of enhancements
  • Provide client/server applications and web application development expertise for National Field Service iPad and web-based applications
  • Oversee web applications development with third party solution providers
  • Collaborate with internal team and external solution providers to resolve issues in the functionality and interoperability of applications and databases
  • Provide technical expertise in leading e-Commerce and Business to Business (B2B)/ EDI platform and file transfer integrations with back-end ERP system
  • Ensure proper functioning of the systems/applications and oversee necessary upgrades
  • Coordinate testing efforts to identify and resolve system integration issues
  • Lead efforts to evaluate, select and implement new technologies to enhance application
  • Spearhead business process improvement initiatives for the enterprise and introduce automation where necessary
  • Align the applications team's strategic and operational activities with IT Roadmap that supports business objectives
  • Coach and mentor team on web-based application development and reporting tools
  • Coordinate testing efforts to identify and resolve system integration issues
  • Develop and maintain relevant procedures and documentation
  • Process and maintain all application relevant contracts, agreements, and renewall.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience with ERP and web application development
  • 5+ years managing staff in development activities; technical lead experience acceptable
  • Software development expertise with web and client/server environments using the following Software Languages: Java, .Net, C#, Java Script/VB Script, XML, SQL, VBA
  • Operating Systems: Windows
  • Server Types: UNIX, Windows Server
  • Relational Databases: SQL Server, MS Access
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Demonstrated experience with office 365 suite and B2B, B2C/e-Commerce platforms (Magento)
  • Working knowledge with reporting & analytical tools – SSRS, SSAS, Tableau, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning methodologies and tools
  • Experience with the following a plus: Multi-variant database: Unidata, Epicor Manage2000 ERP, SalesForce CRM
  • Also a plus, ETL tools – Informatica, Jitterbit and SOAP-based web services
  • Strong, effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical audiences
  • Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills
  • High degree of initiative and motivation and willingness to work as a proactive team player

Schedule is Salaried Direct Hire full time (40+ hours/week) and offers a starting pay of $100,000 - $115,000 annually depending on experience.
